About Me

img023.jpg

My name is David Hill. I am 23 years old and I enjoy working and playing on computers. I am a semi-active amateur radio Technician license holder, working toward my General license. I was born in St. Louis, Missouri and I have lived there most of my life. Right now I am an active duty enlisted member of the United States Air Force. I am currently stationed at Keesler AFB in Biloxi, Mississippi for my tech school. My job is Satellite Wideband and Telemetry Systems. I will be serving for six years, and plan to complete my Associate’s degree. Then I will reenlist into the Air Force Reserve, serving part-time, and search for a full-time job in my career field. I plan to also use the GI Bill to complete my Bachelor’s degree by taking night/online classes.

My parents are Gary and Gloria Hill. My dad works at Boeing and enjoys amateur radio projects. He and I share many similar interests, and as a result, he has passed much of his joy and knowledge of electronics on to me. My mom enjoys stamping and scrapbooking. She has been very instrumental in helping me to learn the vital skills I needed in order to live on my own. Both of my parents are a great encouragement to me and are my number one support team while I work toward my future career goals.

My sister Sandy  and brother-in-law Mike live in Poplar Bluff, Missouri with their two children (and my favorite nephews) Isaiah and Daniel. They both work for Mike’s mom as insurance salespeople for State Farm. Not only has Sandy been a wonderful sister to me while we were growing up at home, but she has also given me much support and love even though we cannot always see each other that often. Mike is definately the best brother I could have ever hoped to have. He has given me much counsel in the past and continues to be a role model and an ispiration for the husband and father I would someday like to be.
